Create Custom Database
We use athletes databases with skills values close to those of real biathletes. Our values are based on official statistics, which enable us to generate realistic race simulations. However, you can create your custom database or edit an existing one: add/delete athletes, or change their skill values.
Go to the menu New Game -> Generate Custom DB screen. Creating a custom database has the following steps:
Download and edit database template

Select the base database version and click on “Download Template”. Athletes list will be downloaded as a text file. You can edit this file to add/remove athletes or change their skills.
Template line example: ALLANSEN Aleksander;NOR;92.0;84.0;67.0820371108283;77.6203974164242;MEN;27
Each line has 8 values separated by ‘;’ :
- Name
- Country
- Shooting Prone Accuracy
- Shooting Stand Accuracy
- Speed
- Stamina
- Team sex: MEN or WOMEN for main roster, JMEN or JWOMEN for reserve (IBU and Junior/Youth)
- Age
Please note that:
- Skill values must be between 1.0 and 96.0 for shooting accuracy, 1.0 and 90.0 for speed and stamina.
- It is necessary to use only the existing country codes; adding new countries is not supported
- The maximum number of members in the main roster for each team must be 10, not more
Upload modified file
Upload the modified text file in the second step. If any errors occur, the message will be shown. If everything is ok, you can go to step 3.

If you notice unexpected errors on uploading your database template, please take into account that it must be a Plain Text file. It might be better to edit the template file on your PC instead of your mobile phone, because Android text editors sometimes don't work well. To work with Plain Text files, it can be useful to use Notepad or Notepad++ applications for Windows, BBEdit or TextEdit for macOS, Kate or another editor for Linux. If you import a template file into MS Excel or Numbers, export the result into CSV format, and change separators from commas (',') to symbol ';' after that. Please check that every person's data is written in a separate line.
Save new base database
Enter the name for the new base database and click on Save Database. After that, you will be able to select a new database version in the New Game dialog.
